01 - Peacock Farms Wedding Arroyo Grande Movie Poster - 01

Brian and Allyson’s wonderful wedding took place at one of the Central Coast’s premiere wedding venues – the beautiful Gardens at Peacock Farms in Arroyo Grande! As I heard more and more about Brian and Allyson’s love story I became more and more touched. One theme kept coming up: Brian and Allyson were marrying their best friends!  Added to that, the way that I heard Allyson speak about Brian being her best friend was so sincere and heartfelt that it really made an impression on me.

I started the day bright and early arriving at the Gardens at Peacock Farms at 9 a.m.  The wedding was an early one starting at 2 p.m. or so, so I wanted to make sure I had plenty of time to capture Allyson’s getting ready as well as all the shots of the wedding rings, shoes, dress and reception details. I photographed the wedding by myself.

Another great wedding at one of the Central Coast’s best wedding venues – The Gardens At Peacock Farms in Arroyo Grande!

A special thanks to Brian and Allyson for being such a great wedding couple to photograph.  You guys were  a lot of fun.  I hope your friendship will only deepen in your lifelong commitment to each other in marriage! You always have a friend here.  Please keep in touch!

Kindly,

I knew it would be a high energy, fun, crazy wedding for Mike and Rachel when they married at the Santa Ynez Mission in Solvang.  Their beautiful reception followed at Root 246 in Solvang.  I had photographed the lovely couple’s engagement session and it was an amazing and fun time.  The bar had been set high and by all accounts, their wedding day certainly delivered!  Solvang is a romantic and beautiful location for any wedding and reception.  Located between Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo, this historic and world famous city is unique to any other.  The wedding day started at Hotel Corque in Solvang.  I started with detail shots of the wedding rings, dress, shoes and the like, grabby shots of the girls getting ready as well.   I share a ton of photos here in my wedding blog and yet I still feel like I am with holding so many pictures that I would love to share as well.

There’s no doubt, she’s a beauty!

All the tremendously unique floral arrangements including the bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, etc. were provided by the highly acclaimed Jenny McNiece of Jenny McNiece Flowers.  Jenny is truly amazing at working with flowers and each brides vision of what they want.  Mike and Rachel’s wedding decor including copper. Jenny made fabulous use of real copper in her arrangements.  If it’s not already obvious Mike absolutely loves classic cars and owns one himself.  Jenny incorporated that into the flowers as well.  She’s really great.

The Santa Ynez Mission (also know as the Santa Ines Mission) in Solvang is not only historic but beautiful!

Shoes, shoes shoes….woman and shoes.  It will never end!!

Rachel opens her special wedding day gifts from Mike and then enjoys some refreshments with the girls as they get ready!

Just when I think I have seen the prettiest little flower girl I’ve ever seen before along comes another one!

Mike and Rachel, thanks so much for letting me be part of such a memorable day! As you two ride off into your future I’m hoping and praying God’s very best for you guys.  Serve each other always, forgive quickly, share openly and honesty in humility and always seek the truth in love and your marriage will grow and flourish!

It was a warm beautiful day in the Los Olivos/Santa Ynez Valley for Scott and Shannon’s fun filled wedding at the Crossroads Estate at Firestone Winery! Looking back on the wedding day it’s hard for me to believe that I spent over 12 hours photographing their wedding day.  It all went by so fast, it’s almost a blur. Thankfully though the wedding photos are not blur, rather there are thousands of them, sharp, in focus and colorful!  Each wedding photograph takes me back to recall so many wonderful memories as I observed and captured with this gift of photography that we’ve all been given.  What a privilege it was to be chosen for this assignment.  Both Scott and Shannon are in the movie business and so I took it as one of the highest complements possible to be chosen as their wedding photographer!  I was assisted for a good portion of the day by one of my awesome second shooters: Jason Rath!

The Crossroads Estate at the Firestone Winery is really a fabulous wedding venue in the Los Olivos and Santa Ynez area.  The property is characterized by wide open lawns and fields, picturesque trees, a huge pole barn and the main estate house just for starters.

I love coming early to get detail shots of the dress, shoes, rings, invitations and anything else of importance!

Wedding coordination and event planning for this fabulous wedding was done by Lauren Kendle Event Productions!  Kendle and her team did a fabulous and well coordinated job!

All the spectacular decor and flowers were done by NLC Productions.  They did a great job with the beautiful bouquets and decor through out the wedding venue.  Their work is highly acclaimed and speaks for itself!

Coastline DJ’s kept the night rocking with the tunes.

Delicious catering was provided by Pure Joy Catering

The Solvang Bakery provided the elegant and delicious cake!

As you can see the Crossroads Estate at Firestone Winery in Los Olivos.  This wedding venue is run by Foley Family Wines and is top notch in every respect.  What a gem of a wedding venue to photograph in the gorgeous Los Olivos – Santa Ynez area.  It’s amazing how many beautiful wineries, barns, ranches and estates there are that lay ready to be discovered by couples planning their most special day!

Kids are always one of my favorites parts of each wedding. Their expressions and actions are unbeatable!  Kids are full of energy, innocence and beauty.  But even the most vivacious kid can get a little tire and bored at a wedding!

Scott and Shannon thanks so much for all the great memories and giving me the liberty to photograph your wedding in the way I thought best. I appreciate your trust, not to mention Shannon toughing it out to walk in those hills and both of you marching up that hill on an extremely warm day!  I’ll remember your special day for a long time to come.  May your love continue to grow and blossom to become just as beautiful as your wedding day was!

Marco and Allyssa’s wedding was held at the beautiful Disneyland Hotel Rose Garden, here in beautiful California!  Marco and Allyssa are fun, kind, respectful and wonderful people.  The kind that you’d love to be neighbors or friends with. We had a blast on their engagement shoot as we snuck around book stores taking photographs depicting one of their passions – reading.   But this day, their wedding day, was planned to resemble a fairly tale!  It lived up to it 100%.  From the beautiful sunny day, the immaculate Disneyland Hotel Rose Gardens landscape, Allyssa the princess looking bride, Marco the handsome groom and a horse drawn glass carriage to carry the bride to the ceremony…and wisk the couple away once the ceremony was complete!!

The grounds at the Disneyland Hotel Gardens are wonderfully and perfectly manicured!

The Sleeping Beauty Pavilion at the Disneyland Hotel is a wonderful place for a wedding reception!

It’s always such a special time when the parents of the bride get to spend a few moments with their beloved daughter before she is given away in marriage.   Dad’s first look at his little girl, all grown up and about to marry the man of her dreams was very, very special.  While the pictures I’m sharing show that initial joy, just after that Allyssa and her dad shared a very, very emotional and sweet moment.  One so sweet that I teared up and so emotional that I will with hold from sharing.  Regardless, it was so beautiful to see the love this family shares for one another.

Marco and Allyssa shared a “secret touch” before the ceremony, rather than see each other.

The moments the bride and groom share with those who walk them down the aisle on on of the biggest days of their lives are always some of my favorites!

Marco watches his bride descend down the aisle to meet him!

The Sleeping Beauty Pavilion at the Disneyland Hotel is a super classy and beautiful setting for a wedding reception!

As if this fairly tale wedding at the Disneyland Hotel Garden and Sleeping Beauty Pavilion couldn’t end with out an over the top ending…the Disneyland Hotel upgraded Marco and Allyssa to their Adventureland Suite.  Marco had me and the videographer waiting in the room so we’d be there for Allyssa’s surprise.  All I can say about the room is, wow, over the top!

The perfect ending to Marco and Allyssa’s fairytale wedding love story!  It was truly was a honor and privilege to photograph your wedding.  Blessings to you both and please let me know when you are in town!

Kindly,

Trent
