It’s a small world! Paul was the best man for Ness, a groom whose wedding I photographed earlier this year (Jess and Ness). They were kind enough to give me a great recommendation. Added to that, it just so happens that Paul’s mother knew peeps from another wedding I shot earlier this year (Brenda and Jose) in Monterey. They too recommended me. (Thank you!) Regardless it was great to shoot Paul and Trina’s engagement. We were a little concerned about it being too cold, especially in Morro Bay where we had planned the session. However, it turned out to be a beautiful day and only as the sun set did it get a little nippy. Both Paul and Trina were very laid back and open to trying any of my suggestions. Before the engagement session I had asked Trina how they felt about jumping barb wire. I got a kick out of the fact that Trina said it was “their specialty” and they were game. We hit a number of new spots I had been scoping out and one that I’ve used before. Morro Bay is just one of the many places here on the Central Coast that is ripe with so many great photography spots. Just one more reason being a wedding photographer in the San Luis Obispo area is awesome! Thanks for the great shoot Paul and Trina! In no time it will be time for your wedding!
Here’s a very small sampling from the pictures.
