Cellar 360 Wedding Photography -01

Christopher and Andrea’s wedding was held at the gorgeous Cellar 360 in Paso Robles.  Christopher and Andrea met online and thus their true life love story began with a “click”.  Obviously upon meeting they “clicked” as well and as they say “the rest is history”. It’s always exciting for me to see how different couples find each other and the wonderful love that ensues. So undeniable and strong is the love that Christopher and Andrea have found for each other, that everyone at the wedding was touched by it.

As you can see Cellar 360 is a beautiful wedding venue and has one of the biggest on most beautiful barrel rooms on the Central Coast. This venue is a great one for any couple looking for a great wedding venue and just as great for any wedding photographer!

The wedding day went quite smoothly. It was great to have Azurae Shults of Ciel Bleu Event Design coordinating for the wedding celebration. Beautiful wedding flowers were done by Laurel White of Adornments Flowers and Finery. I was accompanied for the day by my Associate Photographer Andrea, who is very talented and lots of fun to photograph with. All of the wedding photographs you see here in this wedding blog post were taken by me.

Christopher and Andrea’s wedding was in late June. As you can see, this is the perfect time of year for vineyards. They are so vibrant and lush…as was the case here at Cellar 360.

The bridal party made their grande entrance on the ground floor level. The lovely couple surprised their guests by entering from upstairs to make their entrance especially grand!

Surely we had a future star among us leading the dancing! One thing is for sure, this little guy is not shy!

Christopher and Andrea, I’m so happy for you and feel so honored that you chose me to photograph your wedding celebration at Cellar 360. I know this is the start of something great and am so glad you guys “clicked”! Many blessings to you both.

Cellar 360 is located at 7000 Highway 46 East Paso Robles, CA 93446

Andrew and Sara were married at the gorgeous Eagle Castle Winery in Paso Robles.  I photographed the wedding by myself.  I knew I was in for a fun filled day, since I had already photographed Andrew and Sara for their engagement session.  Once again I couldn’t have asked for a nicer couple or a more beautiful day.   I started the day early with the ladies getting ready at Twist Studio Spa in Paso Robles. It’s beautiful salon with a great staff.  Sara and the ladies were fun and in good spirits. Unfortunately, I’ll have to keep my comments on this wedding brief, but only because I’m so busy.  I have lots of great memories for this wedding and maybe in the future, I’ll be able to add some more comments. But for now…enjoy the photographs!

Nothing beats the raw and emotional moments between bride and groom, bride with father and groom with mother during the first dances!

To view all the photographs from the whole wedding, you can find them in my online gallery at the below address.

Rain wasn’t about to spoil this wedding. Yes, for most of the day is was rainy, cold and windy. But the warmth of Chris and Tiffany, family, friends, the festivities and the Grand Chenier Ranch – kept this wedding celebration lively and warm! Chris and Tiffany were such a great couple to serve. While no bride and groom wants rain on their wedding day, they were determined to keep it from hampering their day. Warm, friendly and laid back –  Chris and Tiffany made the most of their wedding day and everyone had a blast. Their love for each other was beautifully obvious!

Welcome to the Grand Chenier Ranch! The Central Coast’s (San Miguel) newest top notch rustic country and western wedding venue. This place is AMAZING!! This venue has it all. The barn that most of the festivities usually take place in has the feel of an authentic rustic country setting, yet it is so classy, warm and dazzling that I was simply in awe! This is not some drafty run down barn. This wedding venue has class, style and warmth written all over it. The photo opps at this wedding venue are simply limitless. The grounds offer the use of fields, trees, dirt roads, swings, an old shack, antique fire engine, carriage, horses, etc., etc. Read and look on! If you are looking for the perfect country, western or vintage wedding venue – this just might be it!  The staff at the Grand Chenier are first rate also. Always there to help and see that things are running smoothly for the bride and groom.

As you can see…above the barn is another floor that is filled with all kind of antiques and neat stuff. It’s the perfect place for a cocktail hour or for people just to relax and hang out.  It may look like this area is very narrow, but it is actually much more spacious than it would appear.  This photo taken with a fish eye lens makes look much more narrow than it actually is.    What a great wedding venue!  The Grand Chenier Ranch Rocks!

I started the day shooting at a beautiful house Tiffany and and family were getting ready in. First the rings, dress and shoes and then moved on to the bride and her bridal party getting ready.  You never know what you might see even through the crack of a door!   Sorry Tiffany, I hope you didn’t feel like you were being stalked.  :  )    I had received permission to be in this area and was careful to ask if  everyone was proper before entering this area where the girls were getting ready.

Tiffany’s sister helps her with the dress.  They are really close and it was beautiful to see how much they cared about each other.

The below shot is actually at the Grand Chenier later in the day after the ceremony.  Tiffany’s sister and mother help her bustle the dress.

Next I was out the door headed four houses down where Chris and his brother were getting ready. Since Chris and Tiffany were from out of town they had both rented houses to be with family and have some space for getting ready before the wedding.  This was a great idea and the houses were great for taking pics!

I’m outside in the rain with umbrella shooting back at Chris in the doorway.  If you look close you  can see the rain drops captured in mid air.

That’s Chris and Tiffany for you…always horse’n around!

The wedding ceremony was held at the Mission in San Miguel. Like all missions it is a very beautiful and historic site.

San Miguel Mission Weddings

Chris and Tiffany had rented a classic vintage car for their drive from the San Miguel Mission to the Grand Chenier Ranch.   It was windy and raining so we were limited it what we could do. Regardless I proposed we make use of the classic car and the bell tower backdrop aided by one umbrella for them and one for me.  A big thanks to Chris’ brother for holding the umbrella for me!

With the rain and wind in full swing at the reception, we stayed indoors and made use of the barns unique inside backdrops.

Sometimes there is only one way to keep cowboys in line!

The expressions that people give me when they discover me pointing a camera at them are…umh…let’s say priceless.  I like to often imagine what they are thinking.  On rare occasion I will share with you my best guess as I have done below.

Have you ever tried to toss a hat up in the air and have it land on your head while dancing?  Let’s just say, it is not easy and if the person trying to do so has been drinking – it may be even more difficult!

Chris and Tiffany had thought of the smallest details for their wedding.  A couple hours before the party concluded these “midnight snacks” were brought out.  Yum!

Normally the dancing takes place on the deck just outside the barn (pictured below).  However, with it being cold and windy it seemed certain the dancing would stay strictly indoors. However, about an hour before the evening concluded people began trickling outdoors to the deck to dance in the cold wind. The only way for me to get the shot was to get out in the rain shooting back toward the deck of the barn. So I took my giant golf umbrella and held it with one hand and my camera with the other to catch this shot.

A special thanks to the Grand Chenier Ranch and their staff.  They really made a difference.  Most importantly though a big thank you to Chris and Tiffany for letting me capture and have a small part in their day.  Congrats to you two on a wonderful wedding celebration and the wonderful love you have for each other!  Keep it going strong and keep in touch!

It was a stunningly beautiful day to photograph Joshua and Brittnie’s wedding at the Tooth and Nail Winery in Paso Robles.  Both the couple and the venue were amazing!   Let me preface this blog posting by saying – yes I know there are way too many photos. However, I just couldn’t help myself with the cornucopia of images that I had from the whole wedding day. Please forgive me!  The fact is that short blog postings and short wedding days make for easier work.  However, for me, covering and displaying the whole wedding day is part of the passion that drives me as a wedding photographer.

Flowers were done by Jenny McNiece Flowers. Jenny is one the nicest and best florists in the wedding business. Her arrangements are classy and stunningly beautiful. She’s truly gifted and the Central Coast is fortunate to have her as a wedding vendor!

The day began at the La Bellasera Hotel and Suites in Paso Robles.   The fact that all my wedding collections come with unlimited hours allows me to arrive nice and early, which in turn provides me the opportunity to not only get pictures of the detail shots (rings, dress, shoes, etc.) but also the the “getting ready” part of the day.  Sometime this is at a salon, other times it is at the hotel, as in this case.  It’s always a lot of fun and helps me get acquainted with everyone.  By the time the wedding starts if feels like I’m amongst family and friends.

Every wedding I look for something unique to use as a background or prop for the wedding rings.   Brittnie had pointed out that we had access to strawberries and broccoli and that one was a favorite of hers and the other a favorite of Joshua. She liked the idea of using them in the shot – so I was more than happy to incorporate them.

The Eagle Castle Winery in Paso Robles is one of the most unique wedding venues on the Central Coast.  I think it is easy to see why.

Wedding Coordination was done by Roxan Kragten with Paso Weddings.  Her and her staff did a great job making the day go as smooth as possible.

One of my favorite aspects to every wedding are the children that are usually present and such a joy to photograph in candid moments. Their expressions are so endearing, unique and breath taking. Simply put, I believe when we look into the face of a child we see a special and more clear reflection of the character and beauty of God.

After the wedding ceremony Joshua and Brittnie made the time to sneak off into the vineyard for some couple shots.  This required not only making the time to do so (which is never easy with most wedding timelines) but also required Brittnie to be brave a little bit of dirt, rock and weeds with her dress.  I think she’ll be glad she did so every time she looks at the pictures we were able to get from the time.

The grand entrance and dinner began inside the Castle.

Once dinner and toasts were finished we headed outside for dancing and fun!

Did I mention kids can be mischievous too!!   Don’t worry this little guy did no drinking!

After a long hard day of work this little guy  finally came tumbling down. In the mean time this baby decided to give me the expression of a lifetime!  I think he was saying “man that wedding cake was great!”

The day went by in a flash and no one wanted the party to end.  But at some point every party has to come to an end.  The day was a great success and I’m continually amazed that I get to be part of days that have so much joy, happiness and beauty to them. Tooth and Nail Winery is a great place for a wedding!

Thanks so much Joshua and Brittnie for allowing me the honor and privilege to be your wedding photographer.  It was a lot of fun and I hope our paths again soon!
